"I've lived along the coast all but four years of my life. A former Navy brat, I gathered memories from Newport, R.I., south to Charleston and Myrtle Beach, S.C. Norfolk, Virginia, and Lewis, Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach, Delaware, are other seaside communities I've also called home. There used to be far more deserted beaches like the one portrayed in this dreamy painting, with dune buggy trails leading right to water's edge. This oil painting was done from melded memory. I don't know exactly where it is. Maybe a little piece of Heaven. The ideas behind it are sure -- light and peace overcoming darkness and bringing beauty to the world. The original is sold, but I've made two sizes of archival
giclée prints on paper and canvas for you to enjoy." -- Ellen Rice
