Gicle'e reproductions of Ellen's original wood block print are available

This is a signed archival gicle'e reproduction of a wood block print made from two wood blocks that Ellen hand carved at age 13 in her public school art class.

She keeps it in her print collection because of its timeless meaning and her memories and gratitude for her favorite art teacher, Irene Silverstein, who passed along to her next school's guidance counselor the message that Ellen had more talent than any of the students she had taught during her years in public education. Her words, so different from what Ellen heard at home, were told to her by the guidance counselor. They bolstered and undergirded her future efforts.

Words matter. Encourage your children.

The printed portion of this gicle'e is 9" x 7". They fit nicely in an 11" x 14" frame.
